Mexican Drug Cartel

This photo was taken in Mexico City after a shoot-out
between rival drug cartels. According to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration,
the violence was sparked by a botched drug deal involing 20kg of marijuana.


The decapitated heads of four people were discovered by Mexican Police in Acapulco, Mexico,
inside a van abandoned on a street near the city center.
Inside the vehicle the were the human remains and a message from the Los Zetas
warning Mexican law officers that they will face retribution if they continue to fight
the cartels.
